FELT 2 was so named for its relationship to the exhibition FELT at the Textile Museum of Canada (1999-2000). This project, organized by the Textile Museum and Ontario College of Art and Design, extends the Museum's programming into the community with a workshop led by Kathryn Walter for art students. A weekend intensive that looked at and cultural influences and art historical references to Joseph Beuys, Robert Morris and other contemporary artists resulted in an exhibition of the students' work.
