Kathryn Walter's contribution Frieze #1 and Frieze #2 are parts of a series titled FELT Ornament, a formal study in contrasts:
Fibrous, organic material built into hard edge, basic geometric shapes. Forms of repetition and patterning applied to handmade production. Grey is all colour and no colour, appearing at once hard like stone and soft like wool. Carved, stitched. Felt relief. KW
