Co-chair of the event, Xandra Eden remarks, "The concept for Mercer
Living comes from an evocative, albeit irrational, comparison between
Martha Stewart Living magazine and Bruce Mau's Life Style. In looking
at these two divergent attitudes towards life and living in the 00s,
we began to wonder how the practical and theoretical considerations
of urban living would come together through an exhibition in Toronto."
