These wall panels were designed in collaboration with Levitt-Goodman Architects, FELT Studio and Seventh Generation Image Makers in 2009. The architects designed a moving wall that allowed an open multi-use space to be divided into two separate rooms. The panels were covered in layers of felt featuring the image of Thunderbirds adapted from First Nations imagery of the Great Lakes Region. The drawing is cut out on one side to reveal a darker tone of felt beneath and the cutout pieces are adhered to the other side to create a relief effect.
